This is the corded version of 'Kites sash d' or 'Kites bldr d' and it cannot be formatted into a builder style design.
Use the x1 version for the chain area in a Double Irish Chain quilt.
These patterns are sold as a set - as it is great to always have the desired multiple right on hand.

Design Features
- these blocks are quickly placed: while the 'block' sews out as a regular block, it is placed using the p2p function.
- the registration points are at exactly half the height of the block.
- using the p2p function for placement means points at 'cornerstone' intersections meet perfectly (and isn't this what is always noticed - especially if they don't!)
