Dahlia hex sash p2p $10.00 USD
This dahlia had its petals reduced to six.
It was then arranged with its leaves to fit precisely into a row of hexagons.
The veins on the leaves extend out to the tips, so that it can be very quickly and accurately placed (use the centre of a hexagon) and it will sew from block to block continuously.
It can, of course, be used in non-hexagonal paths as well.
The dotted lines in the illustration indicate how the pattern sits in the area it was designed for.
What a joy this was to use on a wonderful hand-pieced quilt. It really made the quilt sing!

Design Features
- using the point to point function for placement ensures the points at 'cornerstone' intersections meet perfectly (and isn't this what is always noticed - especially if they don't!)
