As the illustrations shows - this was designed especially for a 9 patch star. It will however fit into other squares as well.
Design Features
- the design is drafted so that the main pattern areas have a fair amount of 'wiggle' room around them
- the places where the quilting lines meet or cross are kept away from seam lines, so any movement of fabric, or piecing being less than perfect (and who achieves that!) is not really noticed
Tips & Info
- this pattern was designed to have a .25" margin when finished block was 9" square
- to fit well into other sized 9 patch star blocks, multiply the finished size of the block by .02778 (I suggest calculator be found at this point) and that will give you the appropriate margin to use
