This pattern was done as an alteration to Butterfly hex 3.
The triangular yellow star points in the quilt 'Inheritance' were composed of 6 hexagons rather than 3 and the pattern for the 3 did not sit well in this shape - so a slight alteration was done. More than 3 butterflies was just too busy, so some relaxing curves were decided upon.
It is another design being sold as a set with the 2 formats - a regular block and a p2psu version.
Please note: Intelliquilters do not currently recognise the p2psu format.
