Cabbage tree tri a p2p $8.50 USD
Cabbage trees are native to New Zealand and one of the largest tree lilies in the world. They can grow up to 20 metres high (60 feet) and have girths of 1.5 to 2m (4 to 6 feet).
They are to be found all over New Zealand, on the coastline and in the hills, at the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island.
They are quite lovely trees - very sculptural - but their leaves, when they drop, are death traps to motor mowers!
Design Features
- quick and accurate placement of the pattern using the point to point function
- tie-offs are reduced to a minimum with one triangle being able to be sewn continuously after the other
- margins have been left around the main design area.
While the entry and exit points are right in the corners of the triangle, these margins ensure the design itself will not end up going outside the edge, sneaking into next door, or heading off down into the basement!
