This pattern was one of a series designed especially for a Grandmother's Garden quilt. It is for when 25 hexagons have been stitched together into a diamond shape and is a variation of the pattern which was for when 19 hexagons were grouped into a circle.
With a mixture of flowers and leaves it works very well in floral hexagonal quilts.
This set is the same pattern, but in two formats: a regular block, and p2psu.
Hexagons are notoriously difficult to achieve accurate placement within - but one can readily see the edges of the hexagons - so p2psu works a treat.
