Goose tracks sq a $12.00 USD
This pattern was designed especially for the Norrish Quilt. It was a very large quilt which had been completely hand pieced.
Originally I had thought to put X-hatching into the plain squares - but Sue (who was quilting it) decided against that - she wanted to used the same pattern for both the pieced and the plain blocks. After seeing it - I thoroughly agree!
The design has quite a different feel in each of these blocks. Also - I really love the way the centre of the design 'pops'. It is like having a little button there.
The dotted lines in the image show how the pattern sits in the area it was designed for.
While it was designed for a Goose Tracks block - it sits very well in a square too - as amply demonstrated in the Norrish Quilt.

Design Features
- each of the elements of the design has its own area
- there is 'wiggle' room around each of the elements - so that they will actually stay in their own areas
