Designed to go in the wide paths (or sashes) of a Kaffe Fassett Pickle Dish block. This is a variation of a Double Wedding ring block (or was it that a Double Wedding Ring block is a variation of a Pickle Dish block?)
The overall size of the block is 9.75 inches (finished) square - with the little squares in each corner about 3.5 inches. It will happily resize down if the proportions are still the same - otherwise pick up another pattern (or request I draw up another version)
In the p2p version of the sash, I have split the pattern - so that it can sew out in a true p2p style from block to block. However, for it to work, there had to be two parts to it.

There are some p2psu versions as separate patterns - very useful for those with Creative Studio on their Statler Stitcher.
The p2psu pattern versions, while they can be placed on Statler machines using the p2p function, they will still sew out block by block.

- at the above dimensions, I have allowed for the pattern to be about .375 inch away from the seam lines.
Tips & Info
- On a secondary image, I have shown what it would look like when using the 'a' part of the p2p version.
The top green lines are the pattern going across the quilt from left to right, and the bottom red lines are that same pattern coming back from right to left.
Once this has been stitched out, pick up the 'b' part of the pattern and register and sew in the other half.
The beauty of the p2p version is that one can sew right across a quilt and back again with only one start/finish (or two when the whole pattern is completed)
