A design which would be great for quilts with an outdoor theme as well as Christmas themed ones.

This is another loop type pattern which is quite gentle on the machine as it works.

in formatting this as a builder it avoids extensive double stitching, or another line through the centre to get from the top to the bottom of the design
having a separate pattern for the feature triangle allows for any different number of side triangle patterns to be used - each pattern giving quite a different overall effect.

this pattern is a builder - it requires two passes in order for the design to be completed.
it is a special sort of builder - as instead of using the same pattern, once forward and once back, a horizontal mirror of the forward is required for the second pass. The mirror pattern is designed to be sewn in the same direction as the first one.
the '!' in front of the name 'bldr' is to remind you that the pattern height is not the full height of the finished design. In this case it is going to be half the height of the finished design.
as for most p2p patterns - it is probably going to work best if you decide on the height you want to sew the pattern out at and set it - then ensuring that the 'freeze aspect' is turned 'Off'.
put the quilt on the machine so that as many Geese as possible are Flying across the machine bed - this way a lot will be able to be stitched out with minimal start/finishes.
