This flower pattern was designed especially for a Grandmother's Garden quilt - but there are variations for single hexagons as well which are useful for One Block Wonder quilts.

The set is the same pattern, but in 5 formats.
- a regular block,
- two p2p blocks
- p2psu for a single hexagon,
- p2psu for when 7 hexagons are grouped together.
- and after all that - there is the addition of a half block (which is a p2p one)

The newest addition to this set is one for a flower (the centre and the outer edges are rounded) - a p2psu version for Statler Stitcher users. {br/}- another p2p version added to the set (Sept 2019) with the sewing lines going in and out on the lower points.

Hexagons are notoriously difficult to achieve accurate placement within - but one can readily see the edges of the hexagons - so p2psu works a treat for those with Statler Stitchers.

The dotted lines indicate the area the pattern was designed to fit into and the * shows where the registration points are. They appear as very small dots on the Statler Stitcher screen.

This pattern works well as a 'customised' edge to edge.

Design Features

Statler Stitcher users can achieve quick and accurate placement of the p2psu versions by using the p2p function:
- the pattern resizes and
- rotation is automatically accounted for
one of the p2p patterns has entrance/exit points at the piecing intersections. These do not go in a horizontal line across the quilt - they are up and down as shown in the additional images.
these patterns are just wonderful for custom e2e work.
