They are drawn to fit into elongated hexagon shapes - as shown in the illustrations. They are very common with squares in them, either on point or straight set side by side.
There are two versions of each of the 4 designs - one being a standard version and the other being a p2psu one.

- the p2psu variation of the patterns allows very quick and accurate placement of the designs into sashings.
Tips & Info
- if using the p2psu version to go around sashes - mark the point where you are going to do the registering - as you will need to know the exact place to come back to, and in this instance there is never going to be any sewing done there.
