Feather MM 9 Patch (2) $12.00 USD
This block is a 9 patch with little triangles attached to each side - as on the quilt called Merry Mosaic from Atkinson Designs.
Dee wished to have a pattern with feathers in there - so this was an adaptation of the Misty block.
Design Features
- the main design elements are each kept within their own areas - with a nice area around them for 'wiggle room'
- a p2psu version is also given for quick and accurate pattern placement (Statler Stitcher machines recognise this format - some of the others will not)
Tips & Info
- this pattern was drawn on a grid of 2 inch squares. At this size a .25 inch margin is allowed and will give a great fit
- when placing the regular block pattern - the tips of the triangles can be used for registration - but do so with a negative margin.
