Dbl fan sash p2psu (20) $20.00 USD
A set of sash patterns which is not quite cross-hatching, and yet it is, just with rounded edges rather than points.
These patterns all sew out in one pass, and none of them have any overstitching in them.
So - from very short to quite long, there is bound to be one there which will fit the proportion of the sashing - or bar - which has to be quilted. Although - do play and see how stunning these can also look if compressed or expanded.
I originally loaded these patterns as regular blocks (all of them) but then thought about where it was I was going to use them - it would be in sashes and I would like each end butting against a cornerstone, while maintaining a margin at the top and bottom - that can be a pain to do with a regular block.
They have all now been reformatted and reloaded as p2psu patterns with the registration points halfway up the height of the pattern - and just an infinitesimal distance out from the width.
I would set the height I wanted them to sew out at, turn the 'freeze aspect' OFF - and made sure it stayed there, then all I would have to do is to click in the centre of the height each end of the sash and it is there - no fiddling with borders and stretching each one.
Currently the images do not show these registration points (they will show on the machine monitor though).
Design Features
- while these patterns can be placed using the p2p function, they can also be placed as regular blocks - the registration points are so close to the ends of the patterns that for all intents and purposes it makes no difference.
