Clamshell snails e2e & p2p (2) $11.00 USD
A two for the price of one set - I could not decide the advantages of one form over the other - so thought I would throw in the pair of them!
One of the patterns has the registration and sewing ends right where the corners of the two clamshells meet (nice and easy to find) - but this means a slight dipping in the pattern (but this may be of little concern).
The pattern labelled e2e has its start/finish points somewhat up from this intersection, and just how far up depends on the size of the clamshell - so a little auditioning might need to be done.
Design Features
- the outer lines - while clamshell in shape, are away from the seam lines - making the exact fit not so imperative.
- the gap between the sewing lines - row to row, is the same gap between sewing lines within the pattern (for both variations).
Tips & Info
- if the clamshell is 4 inches across, this pattern has one quarter inch margin around it - a smaller clamshell and you will have a smaller margin. If you want something different, please do not hesitate to contact me.
