Beaded LeMoyne fill lg $16.00 USD
Designed to be the background fill of a LeMoyne Star - especially with Statler Stitchers.
There are three double row of beads or pearls fitting neatly behind a pieced block. Provides great texture - especially for negative spaces.
It is one block with no jump stitches or no sew lines in it. I had three goals in mind:.
- the rows of snakes should line up perfectly between the triangle areas and the square areas
- to sew out continuously - without any no sew lines having to be dealt with within the pattern.
- to fit the star presented on the machine perfectly - including those people who use 'creative' piecing - they do not always want this pointed out to them!

The red dotted line shows where a 'perfect' LeMoyne star would fit - but, as can be seen, there is some room for latitude.

Design Features
- the outline of the pieced star can be registered and this pattern will fill outside it perfectly, with a very economical sewing path around the outline of the star.
- circles are the outermost round - not lines. Lines (especially very straight ones) tend to emphasise where the piecing is not absolutely correct. The outer round of circles are just so much more forgiving, and the lines further in are just fine.

- convert the boundary used to place the pattern into a pattern - or delete it.
- trace a boundary around the pieced star
