This is a star based on a 9 patch grid - where the star points are twice
as long as they are wide. They are often made using 'Tri Recs' tools -
many times ending up in Storm at Sea Quilts
Design Features
- for Statler Stitcher owners - I have included a p2psu (point to point set
up) version (in fact after using this you may wish to discard the other
version!).
- you place the block with the p2p function, registering at the intersections formed by the piecing.
- the pattern will never sew into these points - but the registration is very quick ad very accurate.
