Carpenter's Swoon bkgnd fill $16.00 USD

A very easily placed background pattern for a Swoon Block and the inner (cut off) part of a Carpenter's Wheel.
Do not be scared about the initial appearance of the pattern - it will look like the one on the left. A silly attempt to draw a star on top of the background! Those lines are needed for the magic to happen.
It is one block with no jump stitches or no sew lines in it. I had three goals in mind:.
- the rows of snakes should line up perfectly between the triangle areas and the square areas
- to sew out continuously - without any no sew lines having to be dealt with within the pattern.
- to fit the star presented on the machine exactly - including those people who use 'creative' piecing - they do not always want this pointed out to them!
The fill shows where a perfect star would fit. The left hand images shows odd stitching lines - but these are required in the drawing in order to get the machine to follow a designated path and ditch stitch around your stars properly once the fill command has been completed.

please note though - when this pattern was drawn it was drawn with a margin. However the pattern does not come with its own margin inbuilt - you will have to do one to suit.
