The illustrations to the left are some images from Sew Kind of
Wonderful's blog. A class had made some samples and pinned them to a
wall. The black lines show how the quilting would sit on them just with
using the p2p. Also shown is how the design might look in a background block.

please note: this clamshell pattern is a different proportion to
traditional clamshell patterns - the design is not interchangeable
some times there is some fullness where the curves come
together - but there is an allowance for a bit of movement in this area.
