Travelling by train from Heidelburg, Germany to Geneva,Switzerland I saw a billboard which had a man on a diving board ready to jump in - and the tiles on the bottom of the pool appeared all wavy through the rippled water surface. Immediately the idea of wavy hatching came to mind - so this is what got done on the remaining trip (very foggy - not much of a view anywhere!)
