Bunches of pom poms - radiating out from the centre of a Giant Dahlia flower.
These patterns give quite a modern feeling to a quilt and work really well with modern fabrics as well as plain fabrics- where they would really stand out.
The proportions of these patters are for petals which are quite narrow - they are NOT for a top made from the Marti Michell templates.
Design Features
- all the patterns are p2p and (within reason) their heights can be adjusted.
- they all start at the petal inner and finish on the outer tip
- this particular Giant Dahlia has quite a small centre to it - if you want a variation for different proportions, please do not hesitate to email me.
- there is a built in margin around the main design area which allows for a bit of movement of the quilt on the machine bed - as well as for a little bit of 'creative' piecing!
