These blocks are big blocks - with each of the quarters being just over 9 inches square.
There are ones which have dimensional squares in their centre, and ones which have the edges of the dimensional squares turned in to form a Cathedral Window effect. This pattern for the Cathedral Window piecing - the base is curved. 'CW' forms part of the name (to remind one!)
