Made to test both the patchwork patterns and the quilting designs.
The patchwork pattern was a variation of a Double Irish Chain - but with the chains turning back on themselves around the outer edge. Traditionally they do not do this.
On the quilting side, I had designed some blocks especially to go in the centre of the Irish Chains and was interested to see how they sewed out.
I also wanted to test the 'point to point set up' concept in the purple and green chain 'sashes' as well as in the setting triangles around the edge.
Everything worked very well!

- Corner Setting Triangles (d1x4 pattern used): Triangle 1 x4 p2psu (6)
- Sashes: Kites sash c x3 p2psu
- Blocks: Feather 1 DIC (3)
