'This quilt was not made for anyone in particular but as I was making it it reminded me very much of the sort of colours that my Mum had loved and I would definitely have given it to her if she were still alive. It now lives on our bed in Wanaka and reminds us all of her, especially when the sun streams in.' - Joss
Joss makes fabulous quilts - and all perfectly pieced. She certainly deserved to win prizes with this beauty.
It won Best Traditional Quilt prize and the prize for Best First Time Exhibitor in the 2010 Wellington Quilters Guild Exhibition.
Addie's quilt 'Me and my Friends' from the same pattern as this one - but in quite a different colourway.
