I found Dorothy's other hexagon quilt! And sure enough - another beauty.
She purchased the fabrics from a Quilting Barn in Wales while on an overseas trip with her husband.

Dorothy said that because this one is a lot larger than her previous hexagon quilt - it is a garden. There are lots of different flower bunches and I snapped photos of many of them - they are all have their own special features.
The red binding certainly adds a wonderful finishing touch to the quilt and Dorothy hand appliqued the green border fabric onto the hexagons.
The pattern in the red path was not one specifically designed for hexagons, but it certainly sits in there rather well.
The cross-hatching in the centre of the hexagon pattern looks very nice in the centre of the flowrers.
